In continuation of its efforts to empower youth, an education and employment seminar was organised by Army’s Rashtriya Rifles at Delhi Public School Delina today in North Kashmir’s Baramulla District.
The event which was organized by Uplona-based Rashtrya Rifles witnessed an unprecedented turnout of 4500 students from Sopore and Baramulla. The event provided a tremendous opportunity to the students, where they could interact with various domain specialists and clear their minds about a number of career options available, said an army official.
The highlights of the day was an inter school debate competition and various informative stalls on different career options. Interacting with the students Major General A.K. Singh, congratulated the students for their spirited participation in the seminar. He further exhorted them to ‘think big’, ‘dream big‘ and ‘believe big‘.
Other highlights included inspirational and educational speech by guest speakers and a dog show organised by the local dog unit.
